Teal-ing Good Pattern from Wilmington Batiks

This pattern was written for a Block of the Month and will be printed as ordered in full color.  You will receive both the full Kit version of the pattern as well as the Block of the Month version.

Sumptuous batiks in shades of turquoise, teal-blue, teal-green and blue…all ranging from “almost white” to “almost black” (plus some black) are featured in the Teal-ing Good collection. The colors work together to create ombre effects, especially in the border of the queen size quilt project, yet the variety of color weights from lights to darks provide contrast for beautiful definition in the design.

At 98" x 102", the Teal-ing Good quilt is a generous queen size quilt that allows for a 19" drop on the sides of the bed. All of the blocks are 12" square (including the border blocks) with interesting effects created by overlapping colors between blocks. Since there are no templates used and stitch/flip construction is used wherever possible, this project will appeal to a confident beginner looking to build skills and certainly anyone with moderate skills with have fun with it.
